Surprise POP-UP-by The Refinery vintage!

The old back room recording space in Gold Pan records is getting a new pop-up shop opening tomorrow! Ever since the recording studio moved out earlier this year the guys at Gold Pan Records have been trying to figure out a cool way to use the back tracking room.

Jamie Sarsany, who runs The Refinery Vintage Goods, Matt Sands, and Brian Lee (me!) got together recently and shot around the idea of a pop-up location in the back room, and a week and a half later here it is. (After a few late nights!)

“We felt like it was a really good fit because Jamie’s style is both wild and nostalgic. We’re hoping it will connect with music fans as well as the people just strolling main street doing some Christmas shopping or looking for something interesting.”

The store will have the same hours as the record store, which are Thur-Sat 12:30-5 during the holidays. So grab a coffee next door, check out some vinyl at the Gold Pan, listen to music and take a stroll through time at the POP-UP by the Refinery Vintage Goods.

Don’t forget to check out the other new vintage store down the street Shags Vintage located in the back room of Tres Chic Hair salon. They are having their grand opening this Saturday at 10:00. It’s really rad. -Merry Christmas everyone! See you downtown.
